Review of Lights All Night 2024: A B+ Experience

This review is coming a little later than planned because, like many others, we ended up catching the flu after Lights All Night. It’s not the festival’s fault, of course—when you mix cold weather and large crowds, it’s bound to get germy. That said, Lights All Night 2024 was still a blast, and I enjoyed every minute of it. This year, I found myself paying closer attention to the performers walking around and the energy they brought, which added an entirely new vibe to the festival. Between the incredible music, vibrant atmosphere, and even the vendors, this year’s edition was a memorable way to close out 2024.
A Vibrant Festival Atmosphere

The performers, both on stage and roaming around, really stood out to me this year. They brought a unique energy that I hadn’t fully appreciated in past years. From costumed entertainers to interactive art pieces, these elements elevated the overall vibe and made the experience even more immersive. The crowd was also amazing—it’s always a highlight to be surrounded by fello ravers who share the same good vibes.
I also spent a good amount of time visiting the vendors, which has become something of a tradition for me. There’s always something new to discover, whether it’s unique festival gear or keepsakes to take home. While it might not be the best habit for my wallet, it’s a fun part of the Lights All Night experience that I look forward to every year.
Performances That Shined

The lineup this year was top-tier, and I had the most fun at sets by Tape B, Kai Wachi, Excision, and Kaskade. Being up close at the rails made these performances even more special, and the energy from both the artists and the crowd was unmatched. Ray Volpe’s set was another highlight, bringing the kind of high-energy dubstep that Lights All Night is known for. Each stage had its own unique identity, from the Metroplex hosting iconic acts like Timmy Trumpet and ISOxo to the Disco Rodeo delivering unforgettable moments with artists like Max Styler.
Rain and Mud: A Challenge Worth Tackling
The rainy weather this year added some challenges, with puddles of mud throughout the venue. However, having access to Ultra VIP amenities like exclusive restrooms made a huge difference in staying comfortable. The floral wall and interactive features in Ultra VIP were fun touches, though I still missed the festive Christmas-themed keepsakes from last year. Even though I couldn’t enjoy the strawberry drink offered through the bell feature due to my allergy, I appreciated the creativity behind it.
Final Thoughts
Lights All Night 2024 delivered another incredible experience, even if it didn’t quite match the holiday magic of last year for me. The lineup, performers, and overall vibe made it a fantastic way to close out the year. If you’re planning to attend in 2025, I highly recommend upgrading to VIP or Ultra VIP for added convenience, especially if the weather turns wet. Overall, Lights All Night remains one of the best year-end festivals, and I can’t wait to see how they top it next year.
