Lightning in a Bottle 2026 Expands Its Late-Night Energy With The Stacks Stage Lineup

Memorial Day Weekend in California already feels claimed, and now Lightning in a Bottle just turned up the volume.
Returning to Buena Vista Lake May 20 to 24, 2026, LIB has officially revealed the lineup for The Stacks, one of its six stages and the home for some of the festival’s most high-energy and late-night programming.

Earlier this year, LIB already set the tone with a stacked main lineup featuring Empire of the Sun, Sara Landry, Mau P, Chase & Status, Zeds Dead, Mochakk, Barry Can’t Swim, Tinashe, Of The Trees, Dimension, Overmono, and Daily Bread.
That lineup alone covers a serious range. Hard techno. House. Drum and bass. Live electronic. Bass music. Indie crossover. LIB has always lived in that space where genres blend instead of compete, and 2026 feels especially intentional.
Now The Stacks brings it back to the roots.
The Stacks Is Where It Gets Raw

The Stacks has built a reputation as the stage where things get darker, louder, and a little less polished in the best way.
This year opens with an Opening Ceremony by TOKiMONSTA, setting the tone before diving into a lineup that leans heavily into bass culture and rave-driven energy.
The Glitch Mob returns with their cinematic intensity. MR. CARMACK is pulling double duty with two sets. Team Supreme is back, led by Mr. Carmack, bringing that chaotic, unpredictable collective energy that defined a whole era of SoundCloud-era experimentation.
Then you have Mary Droppinz, Reaper, SAKA, Pangea Sound, A Hundred Drums, Lumasi, Nikita The Wicked, and more. It reads less like a mainstream festival add-on and more like a late-night warehouse lineup that just happens to be happening under the LIB banner.
A Return to That Underground Rave Feeling
What makes this year interesting is not just the big names on the poster. It is the way LIB balances scale with grit.
You can catch a massive Chase and Status set or watch Sara Landry push the tempo into hard techno territory, then wander over to The Stacks and feel like you accidentally stumbled into a 2am renegade.
That contrast matters.
Lightning in a Bottle has always flirted with that underground spirit, and The Stacks feels like a deliberate nod to it. Bass bins rattling. Unexpected back-to-backs. Sets that feel less rehearsed and more instinctual. Surprise guests every night. It is the kind of programming that reminds you why rave culture started in the first place.
Empire of the Sun will bring the spectacle. Mau P will bring the groove. Barry Can’t Swim will bring the feel-good momentum. But The Stacks is where you go when you want to sweat it out and lose track of time.
That duality is what keeps LIB from feeling predictable.
