Voodoo Village Announces First Artists for 2026 Return in Belgium

While many festivals continue to grow louder and larger each year, Voodoo Village has quietly built its reputation by doing the opposite. Set within the castle grounds of Humbeek in Grimbergen, the Belgian festival will return for its 11th edition on September 11 to 13, 2026, revealing a phase one lineup that reflects its continued focus on depth, balance, and intentional curation.

Often described as an open secret within Belgium’s electronic music community, Voodoo Village has long stood apart as a boutique festival that prioritizes atmosphere as much as programming. Across three days, five carefully designed stages come together to form a self contained village where techno, house, live electronic performance, and wellness coexist naturally rather than competitively.

A lineup built on contrast and cohesion

The first wave of artists anchors Voodoo Village’s techno backbone with names like 999999999, DVS1, Len Faki B2B Quest, MARRØN, and Adrián Mills. These acts ground the festival in uncompromising underground energy, offering a throughline for fans drawn to driving, high intensity sound.

Balancing that edge are house and melodic heavyweights such as &ME and PAWSA, artists whose global appeal continues to blur the line between underground credibility and crossover recognition. Their inclusion reflects Voodoo Village’s ability to program broadly without losing its identity.

Live and hybrid performances remain a defining feature of the festival. Monolink, NTO, Rampue, Nohr, Avaion, and Parra for Cuva bring emotionally driven live sets that expand the sonic palette beyond DJ performances, adding space for storytelling and musical exploration.

Further depth comes from artists like Agents of Time, Carlita, Franky Rizardo, Meera, Afnan Prince, and Blck Mamba, alongside carefully selected back to backs including Blasha and Allatt, Cloudy B2B ØTTA, and Helena Lauwaert B2B Saidah. Together, the phase one lineup highlights Voodoo Village’s reputation for thoughtful, genre spanning programming rather than trend chasing.

Five stages, one village

Voodoo Village’s identity is inseparable from its stage design. Each of the festival’s five stages is inspired by a different element, creating distinct environments that shape how the music is experienced.

The Yard serves as the main gathering space, designed for large scale moments and shared energy. The Oracle focuses on deeper musical journeys, emphasizing connection and introspection. The Observatory offers a more intimate club style setting aimed at forward thinking sounds. The Shelter raises the tempo, while The Forest integrates music into the surrounding greenery, reinforcing the festival’s relationship with its natural setting.

What sets Voodoo Village apart among European festivals is how seamlessly wellness and self care are woven into the experience. Rather than treating these elements as premium add ons, the festival integrates them holistically, positioning well being as a core part of the weekend rather than an afterthought.

A festival that values intention over scale

For an independent festival entering its second decade, Voodoo Village continues to set a rare standard. It is not trying to compete with mega festivals on size or spectacle. Instead, it focuses on creating a complete environment where sound, space, and community align.

As additional lineup announcements and stage programming details are still to come, the 2026 edition is already shaping up to be another carefully curated chapter in the festival’s evolution.
